How to get to Elveseter
By car
The town of Lom is approximately the same distance from the cities of Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. The trip should take approximately 41/2 to 6 hours be car from those cities.
From the town centre of Lom, take the road towards Sogndal and follow Route 55 for 23 km up Boverdalen.
By train or bus
During the summer months the Valdresekspressen bus route runs services from Oslo that go directly to Elveseter Hotel. From other locations you can use the Nettbuss service to Lom.
If arriving by train from Oslo or Trondheim you need to disembark at Otta station and take the buss to Lom.
During the summer season there is a bus service from Lom that stops at Elveseter. We recommend that you check the route planner called Ruter for updated departure times.
